The digital io is supported, you have to have 8255 support enabled when you 
compiled comedi.  The 8253 style counter is not supported, aside from being 
used internally by the driver for pacing.  It would be nice if we had some 
generic 8253 counter subdevice code though, as it could be used in several 
drivers.
